The Law Estate Wines team responsible for the exceptional craftsmanship of our vineyard, winery and wines has some of the industry?s most critically acclaimed and respected professionals. We currently have an opportunity available with Law Estate Wines motivated and enthusiastic tasting room staff. The optimal candidate for our tasting room is someone who is motivated by the versatility of the opportunity in managing the client experience. The position is mostly weekends and an additional week day when needed.
We are looking for candidates with a positive attitude and a passion for wine and the wine industry with an eagerness to learn. Candidates must be willing to take initiative and provide excellent hospitality to guests. The position is centered on the presentation and sales of wine through hosting daily tastings as well as vineyard and winery tours. We require candidates to be high-energy and enthusiastic. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Job Responsibilities:
? Prepare tasting stations for opening and closing daily.
? Greet and welcome every guest who comes to Law Estate Wines tasting room.
? Possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills and the ability to speak comfortably in front of crowds.
? Able to conduct themselves with poise and grace in fast paced situations.
? Effectively communicate the Law Estate Wines story to all guests.
? Ability to handle daily tasks as well as operate complex POS systems, place and fill orders, update allocation member profiles.
? Comfortable working with staff members on all levels.
? Confident in all areas of the tasting room, winery and vineyard.
? Actively sell wine and allocations to guests.
? Willingness to learn and available for staff wine trainings.
? Report directly to tasting room manager.
Job Qualifications:
Knowledge, skill and abilities:
? Excellent customer service and organization skills.
? Available to work after hours, weekends and special events as needed.
? Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
? Good working knowledge of wine and willingness to learn.
? Able to stand for extended periods of time.
? Experience in wine sales and/or hospitality a plus.
? Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
? Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
