HANDMADE FRENCH MODEL.
This is an AMAZING Estate Sale find.
The family told me that it sat in a trunk for at least the last 20 years.
Case and outer zipper pouch are included. The actual box does have a little dent in the side, but that, certainly, is no big deal.
The flute appears to be in EXCELLENT condition with no dings or dents.
It seems like all she needs is a good cleaning.
I had a musician friend play it, and he said it plays terrific, with a beautiful tone.
It may soon need to be re-padded as we believe these are the original pads.
The serial number on this instrument is xxxx0.
We contacted the Wm. S. Haynes company with the serial number and information and received this email reply:
