Many different sounds and effects can be achieved with its unique flexibility of tones. Based on, and including, the universally acclaimed "BOSS CE-2" the Super Chorus gives you facilities previously only available in the large Cornish rack and pedalboard systems.
TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION:
The input is high impedance (1 MO) unblalanced and is suitable for Passive and Active guitars. The low noise, class A, input stage features an effective RF filter and high to low impedance converter.
The OUTPUT(S) feature low output impedance which ensures no losses at audio frequencies with long cable runs. There is no possibility of ground loops being created when the signal is fed to grounded amplifier(s) as the output signal is floating. It is essential that both the amplifier(s) and the SUPER CHORUS use a fully grounded AC supply.
The SUPER CHORUS utilises the well-known "BOSS CE-2" pedal, the properties of which are too well known to warrant description here. The extra facilities Cornish added are as follows:
The BOSS CE-2 has been upgraded to minimize noise and increase signal level
A heavy duty footswitch (with LED) labeled CHORUS engages the CE-2 with it's enhanced characteristics. When the footswitch selects CHORUS, the blue LED is illuminated and the chorus signal is blended with the DRY signal in any proportion, via the VOLUME control. Maximum chorus level is +6dB (with reference to the input) which enables any degree of effect to be added to the DRY signal, which is premanently acyive, via the summing circuit.
In this STEREO version, an auxiliary DRY signal output is fitted and is permanently active providing a buffered feed to a second amplifier. The WET signal output is a mirror image of the DRY signal and when the CHORUS is off provides a perfectly matched stereo pair for use with two amplifiers. When the CHORUS is engaged, the WET output has the chorus signal added via the summing circuit to enhance the stereo image and width. Also fitted to the DRY output is a Phase Reverse Switch in case different amplifiers are in use rather than a stereo matched pair.
